You’ll be dealing with new business enquiries submitted by a highly loyal broker panel, which will ensure strong conversion levels. Typically, you’ll spend 2/ 3 days at home underwriting business, and the rest of your time out visiting brokers to raise your and the company’s profile in the market, identify attractive case/ portfolio transfer opportunities, and promote specific products and services.
You’ll be an experienced Underwriter from a Property / Casualty / Commercial Combined background, and you’ll have a successful track record within a new business role. You’ll have a passion for developing and managing relationships, and you’ll possess a trader’s mentality, with a thirst for writing profitable business. Working from home, you’ll be able to work autonomously and you’ll have high levels of self-initiative. Being the face of this company in the Southern region, you’ll be a strong company ambassador, who is well-presented and professional. As expected, you’ll hold a full driving license.
