It now has an exciting vacancy for a career-motivated, graduate calibre candidate, with a thirst for knowledge, to join its specialist claims handling unit in a general commercial claims handling capacity. The plan is for this role to progress into a specialist HNW/ Private Client Claims Handler position very quickly.
With a desire to learn, and the ability to accommodate a steep learning curve, your role will be to handle a diverse portfolio of specialist claims within agreed service levels. You’ll become responsible for assessing new claims against policy coverage, notifying insurers and instructing experts, when appropriate. Additionally, you’ll have responsibility for keeping the policyholders aware of the processes, timescales and ongoing developments of their claims, with a view to achieving expeditious claims settlement at all times.
In addition to your demonstrable claims experience across any class, and an impressive record of academic achievement, to succeed in this exciting and demanding role you’ll be able to demonstrate eloquent and professional communication skills, alongside advanced organisation, administration and IT ability. A keen desire to build a career in the insurance sector, and to study professionally, would also be warmly welcomed and supported.
