Due to the continued acquisition of quality accounts, it seeks an additional Commercial Account Handler to join the team in its Burgess Hill office. Here, you will be responsible for dealing with accounts that typically pay premiums from £20K to over £100K per annum. Clients are from a wide range of industry sectors, including Property Owners, Life Sciences & Tech, Motor Trade and Manufacturing.

This is a wide-ranging role encompassing account management, insurer relations, business development and cross selling. As such, it is essential that you have a well-developed skill set that includes excellent written and verbal communication skills, the ability to manage a variety of stakeholders, networking, and the ability to identify commercial opportunities, backed up with the business acumen to be able to close these deals. As you would expect, it is also necessary that you have a solid knowledge of the commercial broking market, coupled with an understanding of all common commercial covers such as Property, Liability, Financial Lines & Fleet etc. Ideally, you will be Cert CII qualified and eager to continue towards further professional qualifications. Whilst not essential, we are particularly keen to hear from candidates with experience of the Acturis broking platform.
