Having built a £3.5m GWP account, it is very much part of the owner’s business plan to hand over his personal portfolio to a competent Commercial Account Executive, once they have proven themselves within the company.

Our client is happy to pay a significant (up to £100K) basic salary to attract the right person. However, it must be understood that initially, you will be responsible for developing your own business / transferring your portfolio, until such time that you have earned the trust of the proprietor, at which point you will inherit their book.
You must be an experienced Commercial Account Executive, with sound knowledge of the major commercial covers. Just as importantly, you’ll have strong business development skills and a genuine desire to succeed. Being an independent business and not a corporate, you’ll be hands-on, a team player, and approachable, with the ability and gravitas to gain buy-in from clients from all walks of life. In line with this company’s ethos, you’ll be professional, trustworthy and personable.
You’ll benefit from an attractive commission scheme and profit share deal, meaning that you will be able to earn significantly more money with this firm than at many of its competitors. Down the line, “equity is not out of the question”.
