This is a rare opportunity to work for one of the world’s most prestigious, specialist insurers within their Head Office based in Leeds city centre.

As a result of internal development, a position has arisen for an Insurance Pricing Analyst to ensure the excellent price for valued policyholders worldwide.

Duties will include, but not be limited to, extracting data on policyholders and claims systems as necessary to deliver pricing tools to better deliver views of costs, working with the underwriting teams to produce pricing models, collaborating with finance teams to understand costs, and working with actuarial reserving teams. In addition, you’ll be collaborating with the data science team to identify rating factors, as well as working on projects to deliver pricing support.

It is essential that you are highly numerical and data-orientated, with experience of working in a regulated general insurance or an indemnity business. You will be a confident communicator who is able to translate the data and influence pricing decisions across the wider business. Technical experience of working with pricing software, SQL and Generalised Linear Models would be a significant advantage.
