Our client, a successful IFA practice is looking to recruit an experienced, technical Paraplanner to join its growing office in Orpington.
As a Paraplanner you will be working with two Financial Advisers, producing excellent thorough research, reports and review presentations to enable the timely delivery of first-class financial advice to clients. You will be supported by a team of three Administrators, where you will be required to provide technical support on a daily basis and utilise your thorough understanding of the advice process. Research will be a big part of this role, as you will have to conduct thorough research across the whole market, predominately pensions and investments, to prepare product and financial planning recommendations. You will also be required to prepare all documents for reviews and highlight to Advisers any specific financial planning needs that require attention.
You will have a decent level of paraplanning experience within an IFA practice, as well as experience in using IFA back-office systems (preferably Intelligent Office). You will be technical, ethical, proactive and diligent as well as having excellent knowledge of investments, pensions, trusts, taxation and protection. If you have your Level 4 Diploma, or are working towards this qualification it would be highly beneficial, however, this isn’t an essential requirement as experience and knowledge is more important to our client.
