The fast-paced Terrorism & Property Insurance niche is fast-paced and dynamic one. Our client is the world’s largest privately-owned broker and, as an independent, is able to react quickly to changes in a rapidly developing market.
Its Terrorism & Property Insurance Division comprises some of the brightest and most ambitious insurance professionals in the industry who, in turn, control some of the most coveted accounts in the sector. Due to the continued acquisition of prestigious accounts, the Quality Assurance Technical Team is seeking to appoint an experienced Terrorism or Property Insurance Account Manager / Technician to join the Team.
Ideally, you will have relevant experience of dealing with both open market and facility Terrorism and Property risks, including both direct and facultative reinsurance business. Whilst the majority of the risks handled will be on a wholesale basis, some experience of retail insurance would be beneficial too.
Here, you will act as a focal point for Terrorism and Property broker assistance, providing a range of back up and support functions, such as preparing and processing client and London Market documentation, MRC’s and endorsements.
It is essential that you have experience of working in a London Market technical / broker support position, and exposure to dealing with either Property or Terrorism risks (including a good understanding of relevant wordings etc.)
You must be familiar with cash collection processes, able to prepare and issue invoices, and have knowledge of bordereau premium submission processes. You should also have a good understanding of tax / regulatory and compliance considerations for both wholesale and retail business.
