A specialist, niche division of this globally recognised insurance broking and risk management specialist seeks to appoint a talented Account Handler to strengthen its highly successful Account Management team in Chelmsford.

You will be part of the account management team that handles a portfolio of clients who have a typical annual premium spend of £100k+. Working from an office based in Central Chelmsford where the entire new business, renewal and mid-term process will be handled. However, you will also be working closely with an Account Executive on larger cases where there will be opportunities to attend client visits. Interestingly you’ll have the opportunity to deal with a wide variety of classes of business across the whole commercial and personal lines mix.
You will ideally be able to demonstrate a sound understanding of all general classes of Commercial Insurance including Property, Liability, BI, Financial Lines and Motor Fleet. Ideally, you will come from a broking environment, however, candidates from an insurer who are not strictly limited to one discipline, will be considered. Just as importantly, you will have outstanding communication skills, both verbal and written, and an ability to converse with clients at a senior level.
