Due to the continued acquisition of quality clients, the need has arisen for an additional Commercial or Corporate Account Handler to join the team. This brokerage tends not to deal with clients paying less than £10K GWP, and many of the larger clients have premium spends in excess of three quarters of a million pounds. Clients are from a wide range of industry sectors, both blue and white collar.
As an Account Handler you will be responsible for working with several Account Executives or Directors, providing a high level of support on their accounts. This includes developing an understanding of clients’ insurance programmes and ensuring they continue to reflect each firms’ exposure to risks, negotiating with insurers, and producing a range of documentation and reports in a timely and accurate manner.
We welcome applications from both Commercial and Corporate Account Handlers, as the Branch Director is confident that they have the support and training in place so you need not necessarily have dealt with £500K+ GWP cases. That said, it is essential that you are from a commercial broking background and are au fait with most common commercial covers. As our client is a Chartered Broker, progress made towards professional qualifications would add significant weight to your application.
In return, you will receive a generous basic salary (completely negotiable but anticipated to be up to circa £36K for those candidates with extensive experience), support towards professional qualifications under the CII, your own bespoke development and wellbeing programme, and a working environment that is safe to say second to none.
