This is an outstanding opportunity for a Junior Business Development Manager to join a very successful, boutique financial services business, operating in the Ultra High Net Worth arena.
Essentially, this business provides a community for the richest people on the planet; a financial services network for billionaires. The firm holds online events (as well as face to face meetings in non-Covid-19 times!) attended by the wealthiest private investors from across the globe.
As well as providing informative networking events and conferences in relation to the challenging economic climates in which these investors are operating within, they also offer sponsorship to financial companies, with the view to them generating business from the attendees.
Your role will be to sell sponsorship deals to the likes of Private Banks, Hedge Funds and Asset Management firms. Being within a niche area, a lot of these financial firms are already existing customers with whom you will be responsible for generating further business, but you will also proactively look to expand the client base through prospecting and networking.
This firm is based in London, but given the current climate, there will be very little office-working or face to face meetings for the foreseeable. However, you must live within easy commuting distance of London in order to attend occasional face to face team meetings and training.
As a Junior Business Development Manager within the Ultra High Net Worth market, you will come from a strong academic background, and hold a degree from one the top universities. Just as importantly, you will be immaculately presented, articulate, and be comfortable conversing with wealthy individuals. Whilst not essential, ideally you will have had some experience within a consultative sales environment and display high levels of self-initiative. You’ll be working in a fast-paced environment and as such, you must be good at multi-tasking, whilst working to tight deadlines.
You will be rewarded with a basic salary of up to circa £25K plus a lucrative bonus with genuine on target earnings of up to £65K. You’ll also be pleased to know that the company enjoys a 90%+ retention rate with its sponsors, so once you sell a deal to a client, there is a very strong chance you will be securing an ongoing revenue stream.
This role offers progression into a Senior BDM role, where you can realistically earn £100K+, as did existing Senior BDMs within their 1st year – not bad during a pandemic!
This is a truly fascinating business to join, and whilst there is no pressure to do so, in the longer-term (post Covid-19) it provides great opportunities for face to face networking, globally!
