A senior position has arisen within the Credit Insurance business of a prestigious European professional service group. This division has consistently enjoyed double-digit growth for over 5 years and, in these uncertain times, the team is very much recognised as trusted advisors to their distinguished clients. This is perhaps best evidenced by a departmental client retention rate that is the envy of competing brokers across the country!
The firm’s clients range in size and complexity from sub £10M income businesses through to those that turnover in excess of a billion. Clients are from a range of industry sectors and are often part of lengthy, international supply chains – often giving rise to complex exposures.
Due to the continued acquisition of quality accounts, the need has arisen to appoint an additional Account Director to join the team. Here, you will assume control of a portfolio of longstanding clients from a range of industry sectors such as Engineering, Tech’ and Life Sciences.
You will also be tasked in developing new business through a variety of means; these could be self-generated leads, attending networking events and seeking referrals / recommendations. We are particularly keen to hear from creative new business producers who have ideas about innovative ways to win new business or can demonstrate a history of creating a panel of introducers from other areas of professional services industries.
Ideally, you will be from a Credit Insurance background, although we most certainly welcome applications from candidates from the banking, commercial finance, invoice discounting or factoring worlds. You will be aided in your endeavours with the support of senior colleagues, warm leads provided, and the opportunity to cross-sell into other areas of the professions.
You must have a demonstrable track record of managing key accounts, as well as working in a more sales-orientated background. As you will be working with colleagues and their clients from across the Group (such as Employee Benefits or Risk Management Account Directors) you must have excellent stakeholder management skills and be a real team player who enjoys working to shared goals and objectives.
