This is a superb opportunity to join one of the UK’s best-known Wholesale Insurance businesses; a talented and effective team that is known across the country as the ‘go to’ market for a wide variety of risks.

It is headed by a strong management team; high profile individuals who are recognised as the ‘best in the business’ and who enjoy longstanding, mutually beneficial relationships with a large panel of brokers. The business is performing tremendously, and despite being known as an established player in the UK market, continues to explore profitable new markets and launch innovative campaigns.

As Wholesale Account Manager you will be working in the ‘Existing Business Team’ dealing with the servicing of an established portfolio of brokers, producing submissions for the market and issuing quotations for both new and renewal business. You will be arranging a variety of insurance covers such as Commercial Combined, Combined Liability, Professional Indemnity and Medical Malpractice Liability.

Ideally, you will have experience of both Wholesale insurance and Financial Lines classes, but we certainly welcome candidates from more a more traditional commercial broking or underwriting environment who can demonstrate the desire and commitment to thrive in this fascinating niche. You must have a sense of pace and urgency, be able to work in a fast past environment, and deal with a number of projects at any one time. As such, you must be well-organised with excellent task management skills.

You should also have excellent communication skills in able to build a professional rapport with a variety of stakeholders from all walks of life. It is essential that you can produce accurate reports and other documentation in a timely and compliant fashion.
