The North American Property Division provides wholesale (re)insurance solutions for such classes as Commercial Real Estate, Political Violence, Sabotage & Terrorism, Industrial All Risks, BI & Extra Expenses and Natural Catastrophe Perils, as well ask Alternative Risk Transfers (including captives and parametric triggers). Risks covered span the full spectrum of North American industries, including Agriculture, Hospitals, Media, Mining & Metals, Financial Institutions, Ports, Utilities and Telecoms.

The North American Property Broker Back Up Team is responsible for the day to day support of the North American and Canadian Facilities. This includes obtaining quotes from key markets, liaising with a variety of global stakeholders and preparing London market documentation. As Team Leader, you will allocate workloads, ensure service level agreements are adhered to, and make sure that all activities carried out comply with all relevant regulations and inhouse processes.

It is essential that you have previously held senior roles and have extensive management experience. You must have a detailed understanding of the North American Property sector (ideally including exposure to the Canadian market) and be familiar with regional clauses and wordings, such as those pertaining to California earthquake risks. You should also have experience of creating slips and submissions for the market, and be able to prepare endorsements, adjustments and renewal documentation. Whilst not essential, we are particularly keen to hear from candidates who have experience of using Brokasure and PPL.
