Due to ongoing growth of the business, a long-established and very successful financial advisory firm is seeking an Office Manager within its Lincoln office.
You will play an integral role in the running of the business, freeing the MD from operational duties in order for him to focus on business strategy.
This is a varied role, which will include wide-ranging duties such as rolling out new processes and procedures, reviewing work, onboarding new staff, handling cheques and checking balances, overseeing IT and CRM issues, preparing monthly figures, and handling the general day to day running of the office.
You’ll be working in a very friendly and vibrant office and as such, it is essential that you are a natural people person; approachable, engaging, supportive and inspiring. You must possess good levels of self-initiative, be highly organised, proficient with IT and have excellent problem-solving skills. Just as importantly, you’ll be a self-starter who is proactive when it comes to continually improving and enhancing the business’ operations.
It is not essential that you are an financial services ‘expert’, but you will have had some previous exposure to financial services, ideally within an IFA or similar firm. Some knowledge of SIPP and SASS products would be advantageous, although this is not essential. We are particularly looking for someone who is very ‘hands on’ and used to owning tasks from start to finish; i.e. not someone who is a ‘small cog in a large corporate machine.’
