This business is part-owned by a hugely successful accountancy practice from which it continually receives a great deal of financial services leads and referrals. This is therefore not a cold calling / ‘hard-core’ sales role; you will be extremely busy working in partnership with a committed business introducer.
My client is particularly interested in someone that they can mould to become a first-class Financial Adviser. It has a great track record of developing Trainees, and you will have access to training, learning & development and coaching tools that are second to none.
Although you do not need previous experience as a Financial Adviser, it is essential that you hold the Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning. You must also have well-honed sales and relationship building skills, with the ability to secure buy-in from a discerning client base including Accountants and High Net Worth individuals. As such, you’ll be well-presented, articulate, engaging and highly credible.
You’ll be rewarded with a competitive basic salary of circa £25K and you’ll also be paid commission on the fee income that you generate from writing business. Given the firm’s connections, you’ll benefit from very achievable on target earnings of £60K+ in year one. After year one, you’ll also be paid commission for ongoing advice fees (OAF) as a result of maintaining existing clients’ business. So in year 2, you could feasibly be earning £80K+ and far beyond in years to come!
This firm also offers a highly lucrative opportunity to purchase your client bank from the firm after 5 years’ service. So effectively, this role could even be viewed as a stepping stone for you to build your own business!
