A well-established and successful mortgage brokerage based in Birmingham has a great opening for an employed Mortgage Adviser within its busy office.
This firm has been trading for circa 20 years and majors in the specialist lending arena, catering for ‘non-vanilla’ cases such as self-employed, contractors and clients with poor credit. With hundreds of very high trust pilot reviews, coupled with impressive marketing capabilities, the firm generates hundreds of leads on a daily basis, resulting in lucrative income for its Mortgage Advisors.
The business has a great deal of knowledge and as such, is able to place business quickly and efficiently. It also has a strong online presence, regularly appearing right at the top of Google searches.
Using your technical mortgage expertise, you will provide telephone-based consultative mortgage and protection advice to a wide range of clients all over the UK. Working for this directly authorised firm, you’ll have access to the whole of market and exclusive products, as well as a dedicated Case Management Team that will deal with everything once the applications have been submitted.
Given the amount of leads available, there is no need for you to self-generate business, however, you must be driven to convert enquiries and fully exploit the earning potential here.
You’ll be working in a close-knit office of 6, and therefore you’ll be easy to get along with and a good team player, with a positive outlook. Just as importantly, you’ll be well-organised, with first-class communication skills and the ability gain buy-in from customers over the telephone.
It is essential that you have recent experience as a Mortgage Adviser and that you are CeMAP qualified (or equivalent). Ideally, you will have had some exposure to specialist lending cases (refused mortgages, adverse credit, contractors etc), although this is not essential as training will be provided.
You’ll be rewarded with a basic salary of up to £30K plus bonus, with a very realistic OTE of £50K+ in year one, and £60K - £70K+ in subsequent years.
Refreshingly, the working hours are 9am til 5pm (Monday to Friday), with no weekend working. It would be rare that you would need to work outside of these hours. You’ll also benefit from free parking at an office which is in a very accessible area in the outskirts of Birmingham.
