A household name in its own right, this global insurance broker is one of the world’s premier financial services businesses. As one would expect from such a giant of the industry, it arranges the insurance programmes on behalf of major blue chip clients including some of the world’s most recognisable brands from within industry sectors such as Manufacturing, Food & Beverage, Automotive and Technology.
Its Corporate Claims Management Division manages the UK claims programmes of these blue chip clients. Typically, they have a bespoke and sophisticated approach to risk – choosing to have a high degree of self-insurance to their programmes.
Here, you will assume control of a caseload of claims on behalf of a portfolio of circa 10 clients. Whilst you may be required to deal with some (quite substantial) Property losses, you will primarily be dealing with Motor & Liability files, including significant injury cases.
As such, you must have an excellent knowledge of all the major commercial classes, with in-depth experience and understanding of UK Motor being a pre-requisite. Additional experience and expertise in Employers’ Liability, Public Liability, Products Liability and Property Insurance would be most advantageous. You must have excellent stakeholder management skills, and be confident in your ability to engage with senior personnel from clients across a range of industry sectors.
In this key, decision making role, it is vital that you are able to demonstrate proven negotiation, relationship management, advocacy and influencing skills. With a blend of high-level technical skills and client-management expertise, this role could suit a high-performer from within a TPA, Company, Self-Insured or Global Broking background. Whilst no means essential, progress made towards professional qualifications will also add significant value to your application.
