As Account Manager / Senior Account Handler, you will play a key part in the ongoing management of a varied portfolio of corporate clients from a range of industry sectors. You will provide a high level of support to Account Executives, Producers and Directors, ensuring that clients are well-serviced and that renewals and adjustments are carried out in a compliant, accurate and timely fashion. You will also be responsible for preparing a range of client and market documentation, as well as obtaining quotations for both renewal and new business.
You will enjoy developing a detailed understanding of your clients’ businesses, from building rapport with key personnel to establishing each individual company’s exposure to risk. When gaps in cover do exist, you will work with colleagues to develop innovative solutions to mitigate these.
You must be an experienced commercial insurance professional, and whilst it is not essential that you have previously dealt with six-figure fee cases, you must have some experience of dealing with £10K+ income risks. You should also have a detailed knowledge of all common commercial covers. You must have the ability to prepare and interpret claims experiences and analysis, including claims triangulations and the impact of deductibles and cover variations.
