Well-respected, regional independent insurance broker based in Cannock has a great opportunity for an experienced Commercial Account Handler.
This truly independent firm has a great reputation for its consultative approach to insurance and benefits from a loyal client base and many ongoing referrals. Staff find its approach to business extremely refreshing, and very much enjoy the amount of autonomy they are given in terms of placing business and utilising markets.
Working in conjunction with Account Executives, you will be handling a mixed portfolio of commercial and risks generating premiums of up to £150K. You will be involved with renewal negotiations, new business broking and marketing exercises, together with the general day to day management of your client portfolio.
Ideally, you will have considerable experience working within commercial insurance. Just as importantly, you will display enthusiasm, the ability to multi-task, and a genuine desire to provide a first-class service. It is essential that have good working knowledge of the major commercial covers including Property, Liability, Financial Lines and Commercial Motor, although full training will be provided on specialist products where required. Progress made towards professional insurance qualifications would be desirable, although not essential.

Our client is seeking someone who resides within an easily commutable distance from its office in Cannock. The office is also a very short walk from the local train station.
You will be rewarded with a basic salary of up to £30K together with company benefits.
