A truly rare and exciting opportunity has arisen with this hugely respected, rapidly expanding UK Insurance specialist for an experienced Broker/Business Development Manager to inherit, maintain, nurture and maximise the capability of c12 regional branches.

This role carries many of the characteristics of a traditional BDM role within the saturated General Insurance marketplace, but in reality, it is anything but! Without the need to identify and bring on new agencies and broker relationships, you’ll have the time, scope and ability to work closely and strategically with your portfolio to help them achieve profitable growth in their branch, whilst also contributing to the organisation’s overall growth plan.

You’ll live within easy access of East Anglia and the South East, and will therefore be happy travelling throughout Essex, Suffolk, Cambridgeshire, London and potentially into the South East too. Managing your own diary and journey plan, you’ll work in partnership with your brokers, coaching and advising them on all areas of performance and strategy, helping them maximise income, releasing details of new products, promoting new campaigns and providing help and advice with regards to product and placement, when appropriate. Additionally, using a detailed suite of MI from Head Office, you’ll be able to track, manage and challenge performance in all key areas. It is anticipated that you’ll quickly become an actual part of each branch’s team and you’ll enjoy a warm welcome each time you arrive.

Ideally with proven, relevant broker development/ management skills gained from within the General Insurance industry, you will be commercially-astute with the ability to hold and influence strategic conversations with broker proprietors. Outstanding relationship management, business development and client-care skills will of course be paramount too.
