Aston Charles is delighted to be working in partnership with this rapidly-expanding, Essex based, Claims Management specialist that handles lead, live claims on behalf of clients in the Lloyd’s and London market. It currently has immediate vacancies within its specialist UK Commercial Property claims handling team for experienced Claims Handlers who are able to hit the ground running.
From day one, you’ll be allocated your own portfolio of claims, which you will handle from first advice through to settlement. You’ll be responsible for assessing coverage, applying reserves, instructing experts if necessary, repudiating where appropriate, and generally bringing each claim to a conclusion via settlement or closure as quickly and as effectively as possible. You’ll be working within an allocated handling authority of c£50,000 and will refer upwards with your own recommendations outside of this.
Ideally, you’ll be able to demonstrate proven experience in a similar, decision-making claims role. Knowledge of, or exposure to BI, EL and PL would also be advantageous. We invite applications from technical Claims Brokers and field-based Loss Adjusters who might want to consider a desk-based claims handling role.
