Aston Charles is proud to be working exclusively with this highly ambitious, growth-focused independent insurance broking organisation. As part of its expansion, it now seeks a proactive, client-driven, commercial insurance professional to add strength, expertise and energy to its Northern region.
Based remotely, but with a report into the Northern England Head Office, you’ll inherit an existing local client portfolio that consists manly of industries and clientele that service the local rural economy. You’ll quickly build, maintain and maximise these relationships, gaining trust and confidence from the business proprietors. The identification of gaps in cover and opportunities to introduce new products will be key to growth, as will gaining referrals and recommendations from your existing clients. In addition to this, new commercial enquiries are regularly coming into the business and your ability to meet, present to and onboard these potential new clients will be key.
The final aspect to this exciting, hybrid role will be your proactivity in immersing yourself in the local business community, networking and identifying new clients and bringing them into your own client bank. As your client bank grows, your role will naturally evolve into one that focuses upon client care, service and retention.
To enable you to carry your role out effectively, and to provide your clients with the best possible service, you’ll have access to all the specialist markets you could need, as well as Head Office support in terms of marketing materials and systems. You’ll be working within a very autonomous, empowering environment but the senior leadership team are incredibly approachable, supportive and caring and are always on hand for advice, counsel and support.
This is a rare opportunity for a commercial insurance specialist in the upward curve of their career to really establish themselves in a true Account Executive role. You’ll be a passionate advocate of outstanding client service and will be hungry for success. A knowledge and appreciation of the regional, rural economy will also be most advantageous.
