This is a rare opportunity to play a key role in the development of Europe’s most dynamic and innovative M&A insurance broking firms.

Reporting into the London office, you will work with the team to grow the Real Estate and Infrastructure sector book of business across the UK, Europe and Asia.

This vibrant and agile company has always taken pride in hiring the most talented specialists and empowering them to make a real difference to the company, whilst building successful and fulfilling careers at the same time. This firm’s entrepreneurial atmosphere is one of the biggest reasons people love working there, and for a global organisation of such size, it has a noticeably flat hierarchy, which gives talented and ambitious employees great visibility.

From a targeted list of Real Estate funds (this will include some infrastructure and renewable funds) and/ or your own network, you will be responsible for setting up relevant meetings, building new relationships and bringing in new business. Duties will include, but certainly not be limited to, providing the Business Development team with regular updates on the Real Estate, Infrastructure and Renewables sectors, as well as creating and updating market mapping documentation (potentially, across new product lines, sectors and routes to market). You will also use M&A deal platform services to identify and track upcoming M&A deals, sharing this information with the Business Development Team and relevant brokers on a regular basis.

In this varied role, you will take responsibility for the initial creation of pitch documents, organise and set up relevant seminars/events/client entertainment, and assume client management responsibility for certain relationships.

Ideally, you will have knowledge and experience of the Real Estate sector, together with an understanding of Real Estate M&A – how deals are transacted, and who are the key players. You’ll be confident engaging with individuals and organisations with whom there is no direct prior relationship, and you’ll be a self-starter, who is able to operate independently with guidance and support from the management team.

You will be rewarded with a basic salary of up to £80K (Negotiable depending on what relationships/ business you have to bring to the table), together with a comprehensive range of benefits.
