Aston Charles is delighted to be working in partnership with this rapidly-expanding, Essex based, Claims Management specialist that handles live claims on behalf of clients in the Lloyd’s and London market. It currently has an urgent, immediate vacancy within its specialist UK Motor claims handling team for an experienced individual who is able to hit the ground running.
In this varied and exciting role, you’ll proactively manage a caseload of Motor losses, bringing claims to a swift and amicable conclusion. Using your outstanding negotiation, communication and influencing skills, you’ll be comfortable and driven to negotiate settlement of credit hire, repair and other uninsured losses in a timely fashion. To reach a successful conclusion, you’ll be able to investigate and resolve liability disputes, successfully negotiate rates, and liaise with suppliers, customers and TP Insurers on a daily basis, and thus you’ll be an eloquent communicator at all times.
Ideally, you’ll be able to demonstrate experience of handling Credit Hire claims within a Motor claims environment and a sound understanding of ABI GTA would be hugely advantageous. Consideration can also be given if your experience is from the wider claims environment, where you provide evidence of outstanding communication, negotiation and customer service skills.
In addition to recoveries, our client is looking for a team player to “roll up your sleeves” and support other areas of the business when required. This could either be on the FNOL or AD side.
Initially offered on a 6-month contract basis, there is a strong possibility that your role will be extended, or even go permanent. You’ll be working within a vibrant, welcoming team and within a first-class office environment that is easily commutable from Chelmsford, Ipswich, Colchester and surrounding areas.
