This highly respected insurance broking organisation seeks an experienced Commercial Claims Specialist to add strength and experience to the existing team and to provide an outstanding claims service to a varied portfolio of clientele.
With a proud history and a loyal client bank, our client provides bespoke commercial insurance advice and invests a great deal of time, effort and energy to really get to know and understand each client’s structure, philosophy and business goals.
Working within a team of 5, you will be responsible for handling claims on behalf of a number of key commercial clients. The majority of the caseload will be biased towards the main UK commercial classes of Motor Fleet, EL, PL and Property but there will be some exposure to Construction, HNW and even Cyber too. You will be responsible for being the main point of contact for your clients, following the claim through to final conclusion by negotiating a satisfactory settlement with all parties. This is a customer-focused organisation and therefore the ability to build professional client relationships is of upmost importance.
You will be dealing with clients, both over the telephone and via email, therefore it is essential that you have polished communication skills. Also, you will have a professional and business-like attitude, and confidence in your ability to build rapport with clients from a range of industry sectors.
It is imperative that you have a good working knowledge of commercial insurance. Ideally, this will be gained from a broking environment although our client is willing to consider applications from those currently working for an insurer, TPA or loss adjusting firm. In addition, we are particularly interested in hearing from candidates who have already made progress towards professional qualifications under the Chartered Insurance Institute, or have a demonstrable commitment to doing so.
