It now has a rare and exciting opportunity within its Commercial team to inherit, service and maximise a fiercely loyal client bank of local Motor Traders and other SME businesses.
Refreshingly, you’ll be inheriting the client bank from an existing Account Executive who is managing his own exit from the business, and will therefore will be on hand to provide and facilitate a comprehensive handover of, and introduction to, the clients. The majority of these clients are domiciled within a 20 mile radius of the office and have been working with this broker since its inception.
Servicing clients with an income value of c£200k and paying fees of up to £15K, you’ll be comfortable providing a concierge level of service, handling all adjustments, renewals and being on hand to answer any questions and queries around policy coverage. Additionally, you’ll be able to identify any gaps in your clients’ insurance coverage and recommend appropriate products to minimise any future financial losses.
With the majority of clientele coming from the Motor-Trade sector, it will be essential that you can demonstrate proven experience and understanding of this class of business, its policy wordings and the major composite insurers that provide cover. Essentially, you’ll be comfortable arranging renewal terms with insurers and sourcing whole of market quotations, when appropriate. Naturally, you’ll use your influencing, negotiating and advanced communication skills to obtain the best levels of cover and price for your clients at all times.
With this being a key hire, our client is prepared to offer an outstanding remuneration package in order to attract a high-calibre individual with the pre-requisite skills of Motor-Trade experience, commercial broking and placement expertise. You’ll be working within a truly welcoming office, superbly led by an encouraging and forward-thinking management team. There’s a basic salary of £35K-£40K available with an additional car allowance and suite of employee benefits too.
