Working within a specialist division, you will provide insurance cover to a specific industry sector, which encompasses predominantly personal lines insurance, but also some commercial products too. In addition to broking administration, there will be a good amount of phone work, during which you will be advising clients on policy cover, recommending suitable products, and dealing with any general day to day enquiries that they may have. You will be dealing with a very important and professional customer base, and it is therefore extremely important that you have a professional telephone manner, and the ability to build strong rapport.
You will be well-organised, with strong attention to detail, and you will be naturally inquisitive in order to establish customers’ specific requirements and exposures to risk. We are interested in speaking to talented insurance professionals from either a commercial or personal lines background. This could, for example, be a great opportunity for a personal lines broker who is looking to make the transition into a commercial role. Whilst applications from brokers are preferable, we will also consider strong applications from candidates from an underwriting background, who have strong interpersonal skills.
