As Commercial Account Handler, you will work closely with an Account Executive and Director to support them with the servicing of their varied commercial insurance portfolios. You’ll be working with extremely gifted and technical insurance professionals who will give you exposure to a diverse range of risks, including some fascinating, high profile risks.
Your duties will include, but not be limited to, handling renewals, providing quotations, processing endorsements and issuing policy documentation. As a key member of the team, you will also have good levels of contact with your clients, with whom you will build and maintain strong working relationships. In addition, you’ll maintain accurate customer records on the system, produce detailed reports and documents, as well as dealing with ad hoc enquiries, as required.
You’ll benefit from a comprehensive training and development plan, which will include attending specialist training courses with some of the UK’s top insurers. In addition, the company is happy to fund and support professional qualifications under the Chartered Insurance Institute.

It is essential that you have previous experience within commercial broking, together with a good knowledge of the main commercial insurance covers. Just as importantly, you’ll be well-organised, with good attention to detail, and you’ll display strong communication skills (both written and verbal). It is also crucial that you are able to build strong relationships with clients, insurers and clients alike.
