You’ll be joining the national team of this leading global insurance broker, which deals with the company’s most complex clients.

Whilst corporate insurance experience would certainly be welcome, it is not essential that you have dealt with similar-sized corporate clients previously, because extensive training and support will be provided. You must, however, have dealt with some reasonable-sized commercial risks, as opposed to purely micro-SME risks.

In this role, you will deal with circa 4 major corporate clients that typically have individual premium spends in excess of £1m. With non-conventional insurance arrangements, your clients’ insurance programmes are “not off the shelf” and you’ll have exposure to some fascinating areas including Risk Management, Analytics, Captive Insurance arrangements, and much more. You’ll also be working closely with the London office, due to the majority of business being placed into the London insurance market.

This broker very much encourages a good amount of client contact, and as such, you’ll accompany Account Directors on client visits and review meetings, in order to build relationships and gain a deep understanding of their business activities and future plans. This makes for a very interesting role, where you will be dealing with a diverse range of client enquires, whilst receiving support from a dedicated administration team.

Just as importantly, you’ll have a desire to deal with sophisticated insurance buyers.
