This opportunity has arisen with a long established and highly reputable insurance brokerage based in York.

Working closely with Account Executives and Directors, you will manage an account of commercial risks typically encompassing Property Owners, Commercial Combined, Shops, Offices and Package cases. However, the specific make-up and complexity of your account can be ‘tweaked’ to suit your experience and technical capabilities. Typical duties will include, but not be limited to, handling renewals, providing quotations and processing endorsements, as well as managing any general client enquiries.

It is essential that you have significant commercial insurance experience, together with good working knowledge of Property and Liability insurance. Ideally, you will come from a broking background, although personable Commercial Underwriters will be considered. Just as importantly, you'll possess excellent administrative skills, a professional telephone manner, and strong interpersonal skills.
