Due to the ongoing expansion of the business, my client, a long-standing local IFA practice, is seeking an experienced Independent Financial Advisor to complement its existing team in Leeds.
This business, established in the local area for a number of years, has developed an enviable reputation in the wider community, providing first class private wealth management solutions for a broad client base of high net worth individuals.
Due to changes within the business, it requires a motivated and capable IFA to inherit existing clients. The majority of these individuals have been active, fee paying clients, fully engrained within the business for a number of years. The majority of the firms’ substantial income is derived from recurring fees/ service agreements, but it currently only has 1 authorised Adviser, despite boasting a volume of existing business that requires at least 3 Advisers to service sufficiently.
You will provide a comprehensive financial planning service to the aforementioned clients, utilising this extensive source of business, as well as conducting your own external development activities. You will manage client relationships from the initial meeting, providing on-going advice, quickly building trust and proactively dealing with their requirements. Contributing to the profitable development of the company, you will be able to spot new business opportunities with said clients, cross-sell additional services, and gain repeat business.
You must be driven and committed to providing quality and compliant financial advice. My client is looking for an individual with the gravitas to build rapport with its existing clients, and the relationship management and technical skills to ensure they remain happy with the service. You will benefit from a significant support infrastructure comprising 2 Paraplanners, 3 Administrators and compliance specialists, allowing you to spend more time client facing.
