You will handle a range of commercial insurance policies, supporting a team of external Account Executives, where you will ensure the successful placement of risks. You will prepare presentations for insurers in order to conduct effective marketing exercises at new business and renewal, as well as efficiently dealing with mid-term adjustments and general queries. You will build strong relationships with a panel of insurers, and with the help of your team, you’ll build an encyclopaedic knowledge of where best to place business, which will increase the likelihood of winning and retaining profitable cases.
We are looking for either an existing Commercial Broker, or a Commercial Account Handler who is looking to move into more of a broking role. You will be Dip CII qualified, or well on your way to achieving this. You will need to fit in with the existing team’s culture, which can be described as a focused, yet fun environment, with a fair share of ‘office banter’. It is also expected that you are an outgoing, confident person who is comfortable in liaising with Account Executives and Underwriters on a daily basis.
