A highly respected estate agency chain based in East Kent has an exciting opening for a talented Mortgage Broker / Adviser.
This firm has been trading for over a decade and boasts 14 offices in the East Kent area. Offering a holistic service to a wide range of clientele, it has built an enviable client list that generates a wealth of mortgage and protection leads, referrals and recommendations. The business is renowned for its professional, but friendly approach, and its staff very much enjoy the company’s ‘family feel’ and supportive working environment. Its financial advice team benefits from some of the most comprehensive training in the region.
Our client currently has a team of 13 Mortgage Advisers, and due to increased levels of business, it is now looking to expand its headcount in this area.
Providing whole of market, independent advice, you will have access to a wide range of lenders, including exclusive products. You will take the time to understand your clients’ requirements, and advise upon the best mortgage and protection products to suit their needs. Searching and assessing the market, you will negotiate with lenders to secure the best deals, and work alongside your clients to complete the necessary paperwork, ensuring a quality and ‘stress free’ service throughout the process.
As you will be offering professional Mortgage and Protection advice, it is essential that you are CeMAP qualified (or equivalent), and able to hit the ground running.
My client is very flexible in terms of who it recruits, and the offering that it provides. For example, it can offer a salaried position, or a self-employed role. Equally, it is happy for someone who wants to purely service incoming leads from the various estate agency branches, or somebody who wants to bring their own client bank to service, whilst benefitting from the connections and support infrastructure of this leading financial advice team. Finally, our client is happy to cater for either office or home-based Mortgage Advisers. Bonuses/ commission splits would of course be based on which party has generated the lead.
