A well-regarded and successful mortgage brokerage seeks a talented Mortgage & Protection Broker / Adviser to join its office based in Leeds.
This firm was established within the last few years by 2 highly experienced and well-connected Advisers. Already, they have secured partnerships with 5 thriving local estate agencies, which have resulted in the need for additional Mortgage Advisers to service the enquiries.
Working within the Yorkshire region, you will take the time to understand your clients’ requirements, and advise upon the best mortgage and protection products to suit their needs. Searching and assessing the market, you will negotiate with lenders to secure the best deals, and work alongside your clients to complete the necessary paperwork, ensuring a quality and ‘stress free’ service throughout the process.
Because of this company’s connections, there will be no great pressure for you to self-generate significant levels of new business, but having said that, the firm is looking for someone who enjoys networking and is proactive. Your own client bank would certainly be welcomed, although this is by no means essential.
As you will be offering professional Mortgage and Protection advice, it is essential that you are CeMAP qualified (or equivalent), and able to hit the ground running. As our client is inundated with enquiries, it is important that you’re organised, and able to work under your own initiative, whilst managing your own busy workload.
It is essential that you are flexible, hardworking and reliable, as well as having excellent interpersonal skills in order to build rapport with both your clients and lenders. Ideally, you will have previous experience of working for an independent mortgage brokerage, however our client will also look at high calibre Mortgage Advisers from a bank or building society, who are looking to take the next step in their career.
