Major international insurer seeks an experienced Casualty Claims Inspector to cover North and Central London.
This household name insurer, employing over 6,000 insurance professionals, has recently benefited from circa £100M investment and is witnessing consistent growth, year upon year.
Joining an established field based team, you will investigate Employers’ and Public Liability claims, in addition to Motor Personal Injury claims. You will demonstrate a pragmatic and cost effective approach, gathering evidence and making expert decisions. Managing your own diary and portfolio of work, you will report decisions to the Case Management Team with recommendations of further actions. As expected, this will be a home-based role, working independently, with limited operational support, so you will work on your own initiative and manage your time accordingly.
It is essential that you have technical and specialised knowledge of complex Liability insurance claims. In addition, you will have sound knowledge of the claims process, reserving and assessment methods, with relevant experience of investigation and negotiation. Just as importantly, you must be driven, self-motivated and ambitious, with a genuine passion for the claims industry. You will be working in an organisation where high performance, accountability and empowerment are valued and rewarded. Although it’s not a prerequisite, ideally you will have made good progress with CII qualifications.
