Our client has been a specialist within the sports insurance market for over 20 years, and controls the insurance programmes of a vast array of both professional and amateur organisations. Its clients include Sports Teams, Boards, Leagues, Venues and Individuals, including some very well-known and high profile accounts, across a number of sports.
Recognised as a leader in its field, it has been appointed as the preferred broker of many of the sports’ industries trade bodies, and is has been formally appointed as insurance partner to several Local Authorities, Governing Bodies and Associations.
Due to the promotion of an incumbent member of the Sports Division, the need has arisen to appoint a Commercial Broker to join the team. You will be responsible for servicing a portfolio of accounts including dealing with renewals, policy administration, mid-term amendments and answering general enquiries. As you will be regularly liaising with clients and negotiating with insurers, you must possess first class negotiation and communication skills (written and verbal). You must also have excellent attention to detail in order to produce reports in a timely fashion.
It is essential that you have a sound understanding of all common commercial insurance covers. Ideally, you will have had some exposure to handling sports clients, or at least a keen interest in the world of sports (both professional and amateur sports).
