Our client is looking to appoint a Personal Lines Account Handler for its growing business based in the Northampton/Milton Keynes area.
You will be tasked with handling mid-term adjustments and renewals for existing customers across predominantly Household insurance risks, including Holiday Homes, Subsidence cases and risks within flooding areas. However, in addition, you will also deal with some standard Private Motor & Commercial Vehicle policies. You will also deal with incoming new business enquiries from client referrals, as well as cross-selling products to existing clients. Premium sizes will typically be up to £1,500, however the business also deals with a number of High Net Worth (HNW) clients which you will gain exposure to, as you will be supporting the HNW Manager. This business is not tied to any networks or insurers, and only places its business within financially secure markets.
To be considered for this role, you must have some experience of personal lines insurance, ideally within Household insurance. It would be preferred if have progressed with professional insurance qualifications, however, if you have not started these yet, the business will pay for and support you in obtaining the Cert CII qualification within three years.
In return, you will receive a generous salary and benefits package, along with a commitment from the client to invest in your career. Longer term, you will have the opportunity to progress to dealing with HNW clients, should you wish to do so. The company is expanding year-on-year, both organically, and via acquisitions, so there may be other areas in which you can progress, once you have proven yourself.
