You will service the Mortgage and Protection requirements of your customers, searching the whole of market to select the most appropriate lenders and insurers. As the majority of your clients will be within a 30 mile radius, most of the work you do will be office based. You will benefit from the sizeable procuration fees due to the high house prices in the Cambridgeshire area.
Being a relatively small business of circa 10 people, it is vital that you are approachable, easy to get along with, and a good team player. As expected, you must be CeMAP qualified, with a strong understanding of the end to end mortgage process.
Whilst whole of market mortgage broking experience would certainly be an advantage, my client is willing to consider strong candidates from restricted environments such as banks or building societies.
As there are so many leads available, it is not a requirement that you bring any of your own clients. We have been advised that it is relatively easy to earn £45K in the business, but if you really push yourself, you will have the ability to earn £75K+ like some of the top-performing brokers in the company.
You will benefit from a highly competent Administration Team, who will allow you more time to do what you do best.
