An award-winning Claims Management firm requires an experienced Claims Administrator in its office in North Leeds.

You will support the Claims Department by effectively managing all administrative tasks for the Claims Teams. You will take new instructions via the telephone, maintaining accurate records and diary systems for appointments and reminders. In addition, you will set up paper claims files, requesting confirmation of policy cover prior to sending out policy information to Loss Adjusters. You will also update accurate reserve costs and claims information, assisting through the lifecycle of each file and inputting payments and bank transfers at the request of Claims Handlers. Additional duties will include the management of outgoing and internal correspondence, via post, email and telephone.
It is essential that you have previous administration experience, gained from within the general insurance industry. In addition, you will demonstrate a ‘can do’ attitude and a strong work ethic, with a willingness to learn and develop. Just as importantly, you will have excellent communication skills, the ability to work independently, and strong attention to detail. Good working knowledge of Microsoft packages would be advantageous.
