Our client, a prestigious and award-winning Financial Services organisation in the North of England, is seeking an additional Adviser to service an existing client bank in South East.
The business was founded several years ago and has established an enviable reputation for client service, having developed a comprehensive range of financial services solutions for its substantial base of high net worth corporate and private clients. With offices throughout the North East of England, it has clients spread across a broad geographical spectrum and is well placed to house Advisers from varying locations.
Given the size and nature of the business, and following the retirement of certain Advisers, it is in a position to offer a new Adviser the opportunity to inherit an existing client bank, as well as real new business opportunities through a further dormant, orphan client bank. Our client is however wary of individuals that are overly reliant on its resources, and is therefore looking for an Adviser that can demonstrate the ability to source new business, either through generating referrals, or through business development and sales activity.
The firm has an abundance of technically minded individuals and has developed its own in-house investment portfolio strategies and software, built over several years and with vast input from Advisers, that is linkable to any platform / tax wrapper. The result is a largely streamlined, slick and simplified investment process, easing the back office burden Advisers face, allowing them more time to spend with clients. In addition to this, my client offers full administration and compliance support, as well as a Paraplanning service and report writing facilities.
You must be a highly motivated self-starter, with the ability and desire to be proactive in terms of lead generation and business development. Our client requires an individual with strong relationship building skills, and an ‘Adviser’ rather than a ‘Salesman’, with personality being more crucial than past performance.

The total package on offer is determined by a ‘business plan’ and is entirely flexible dependent on the individual. It will be directly linked to production levels, and the make-up will be shaped to suit you. There is also an attractive exit strategy on offer, again, the exact details of which are negotiable and bespoke to the individual in question.
