Having handsomely surpassed all of its targets in 2017, the Newcastle branch of this global broking house is seeking to add even more technical fire power to its Corporate Broking Unit.
Working in close conjunction with several Account Executives and Directors, you will provide a high level of broking support to a portfolio of clients, with each account paying fees of at least £15K, and potentially many multiples of this.
Clients are from a wide range of industry sectors, such as Engineering, Property Owners and Retail. It is likely that some of your clients will be global concerns, either UK domiciled corporates with interests in other territories, or reverse flow business.
You will be tasked with the preparation of technical documentation, including renewal reports and market reviews. You will also be expected to scrutinise your clients’ businesses, identifying exposures to risks and helping to design a robust insurance programme to mitigate these. You will also be responsible for administering any mid-term amendments arising within your portfolio.
It is essential that you have extensive experience within corporate broking, and a detailed understanding of all common commercial covers. You must also have first-class communication (written and verbal) and negotiation skills. You should have a keen eye for detail, and pride yourself on the quality of all work undertaken. Whilst it is anticipated that you will have made some progresses towards holding the ACII qualification, we welcome applications from candidates who have chosen not to do so.
