This firm has a large, open plan office and is well known for its friendly environment. It is quite a sociable business, holding regular team events ranging from informal drinks to bowling nights.
Due to a growth in business volumes, the need has arisen for an additional Account Handler to join the team. Here, you will handle a varied portfolio of accounts, with clients coming from a wide range of sectors such as Leisure, Property Owners and Construction. You will deal with general enquiries arising within the portfolio, as well as dealing with mid-term amendments, helping with clients’ renewals and preparing with any documentation. As you would expect, you will also help with any ad-hoc duties as and when they arise.
You must have excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as having a keen eye for detail and being thorough in your approach. You should also come from a commercial broking background, and be au fait with a variety of commercial covers, such as Package, Commercial Combined, Property and Liability.
Whilst it essential that you have some exposure to commercial broking, our client is more concerned about finding the right ‘cultural fit’ rather than someone with a specific level of experience. As such, it welcomes applications from those candidates seeking a salary around the £20K mark, right through to much more experienced candidates looking for circa £30K. Other benefits include support towards studies with the CII, company pension 2 annual bonuses (payable in July and December).
