Due to strong organic growth, our client, a highly reputable Wealth Management business, is looking to further enhance its Technical Support Team with the appointment of a Paraplanner.

Based in Knutsford, our client has established a strong presence and enviable reputation in the local market. It boasts a unique approach to financial planning for high net worth individuals and the employee benefits market. Our client is enjoying a period of sustained growth and success, which is resulting in higher volumes of new business, and therefore increased administrative responsibilities. As a result, a Paraplanner with experience of dealing with high net worth clients is urgently required.

Working closely with the Consultants, you will operate as a team throughout the advice process, ensuring a first class client service is delivered. More specifically, you will interpret data obtained by Consultants during client meetings, conducting research to provide solutions to meet their needs, and recommending an appropriate course of action through suitability letters presented to the Consultant. Other day to day duties will include dealing with client and provider queries, preparing existing client files ready for reviews, and ensuring all files are compliant on an ongoing basis. You must maintain up to date product knowledge in order to ensure reports are technically accurate and compliance standards are adhered to.

It is essential that you have relevant experience within a similar position, including report writing and research responsibilities, and that you are accustomed to working with high net worth clients. You will have a clear understanding of the financial planning process, with a good level of technical knowledge across investment and pension advice. You must have full FPC as an absolute minimum, though it would significantly strengthen your application if you have achieved, or made good progress towards, Diploma qualification.

In return, you will receive a competitive basic salary, as well as enjoying an attractive benefits package including PHI, Death in Service and pension contributions. You may also take advantage of flexible working hours.
