A prestigious independent broker that continues to enjoy organic growth seeks to expand its Risk Management Division with the appointment of an experienced Risk Manager to work from its office in West Yorkshire.

This is a fantastic opportunity to take on a varied and challenging role. You will deal with a range of Risk Management and Health & Safety services, including Fire Safety and Prevention, Business Continuity, Disaster Recovery, Fleet Management and Environmental Risk, dependent on your experience. You will be working within a variety of industry sectors, however you can expect most clients to be at SME level. You will provide either standalone risk advice, or work in partnership with clients’ internal teams. This is a servicing role, however, as expected with this type of position, you will be encouraged to generate additional income by following up on warm leads and referrals, as well as upselling services in a consultative fashion, in contrast to the normal ‘hard sell’. Your portfolio of clients will be based mainly in the North of England, however, you will be expected to travel further afield on occasions.

It is essential that you have experience in a Risk Management position, gained within a broking or consultancy environment. In addition, you will have already obtained your NEBOSH Certificate as a minimum, and you should ideally be progressing towards Diploma level. It is imperative that you are confident, approachable and able to communicate effectively at all levels.
