Due to the forthcoming retirement of an incumbent member of the team, this respected broker is seeking to add additional ‘technical fire power’ to the Corporate Department. This is an exciting opportunity to join one of West Yorkshire’s most prestigious Broking Units, staffed by a team who are known for their technical prowess, passion for client service, and diverse portfolios.
You will handle clients from a wide range of industry sectors, such as Construction, Manufacturing, and Retail. Depending on your skills and experience, it is entirely feasible that you will dealing with well known corporate clients with premium spends of several hundred thousand pounds, and potentially some with global exposures. Your duties will include, but by no means be limited to, conducting renewal work, report writing and administering any mid-term amendments. We are particularly keen to hear from candidates who are keen traders and can consultatively identify gaps in clients’ cover etc.
It is essential that you have extensive experience of handling all common commercial covers, ideally including some corporate or middle market cases. Preferably, you will also have made some progress towards professional qualifications under the CII, although this is by no means essential. You must be a team player, who is well-organised and diligent, with excellent communication skills.
