Working in the dedicated Claims Department, you will deal with a wide range of losses encompassing predominantly commercial claims, as well as a small number of personal lines cases. You will proactively manage claims from initial notification through to satisfactory conclusion, using your solid influencing and negotiation skills in order to achieve best possible settlement terms on behalf of your clients.
Given this brokerage’s enviable client list, which has been built up over many years, you will enjoy dealing with some fascinating cases.
It is essential that you have previous claims handling experience from either a broker or insurance company environment. Comprehensive product training will be provided on any lines of business that you have not previously had exposure to, however as a minimum, you must have previously dealt with Motor insurance claims. Just as importantly, you will be well-organised, with a keen eye for detail. Progress with insurance qualifications would certainly be advantageous, although this is by no means essential.
