A leading provider of a specialist insurance product requires a well-networked, home-based Business Development Executive to cover the North.
My client is a leading insurer of risks involving Title and related areas of property and property finance. It has a unique range of policies to help Lawyers involved in commercial and residential property transactions resolve both known and unknown title issues and help ‘problem transactions’ close on time.
Reporting to the Sales Manager, you will be responsible for developing business with new and existing clients who are involved in real estate projects. Your focus will be the North of England and key prospects of predominantly Law firms, however others include Insurance Brokers, Commercial Property Agents, Commercial Lenders and Commercial Investors. You will play an integral role in driving revenue growth and delivering the commercial property strategy by creating and implementing results-focused sales plans. With such a wide patch, you will be home-based and left to organise your week, typically spending four days visiting clients and a day doing admin.
It is essential that you possess a highly successful sales track record of selling services into Law firms, Banks and/or Property Investment companies. Having established contacts within these target markets is imperative, and detailed knowledge of the Commercial Property market is highly desirable. You must be a dynamic, ambitious, business-minded professional, with an eye for new business opportunities, together with sound commercial acumen. In simple terms, you will be capable of self-generating leads, with the ability to get your ‘foot in the door’, demonstrating a strong understanding of your clients’ activities in order to devise the best solutions to close profitable deals.
In return, you will receive a basic salary of £40K, plus a car allowance of £7K. There is an outstanding bonus structure, with a genuine OTE in excess of £100K. You will benefit from an existing panel of clients from which to develop business, giving you an outstanding opportunity for high commission earnings.
