My client, one of the top 20 independently-owned Financial Advisors in the UK, is looking to recruit an experienced Desk-Based Paraplanner to join its expanding team based in Stockport.
This business specialises in all areas of financial planning and its Advisors look after its client’s wealth, ensuring their finances match their aspirations.
As a Desk Based Team Paraplanner, you will be responsible for supporting the Desk Based Consultants in providing, implementing and reviewing financial advice given to both private and corporate clients. The main responsibilities for this role will be assisting with the annual review process, assisting with factfinds and onboarding of new clients. You will also be involved in monitoring and reporting to clients on a range of financial products. You will answer client queries and identify their needs and objectives, ensuring you provide a first-class service. It is important to ensure that any business conducted is done in a responsible and compliant manner, meeting all legislative requirements.
You will be an experienced Paraplanner, ideally Diploma qualified, or close to completing this. You will have the desire to work in a fast-paced environment full of energy, where efficiency is key. You will have an excellent understanding of the financial planning process and, ideally, sound working knowledge of the pension market. As a big responsibility of this role involves report writing, it is essential that you have experience of writing complex reports and are proficient with IT. Excellent client servicing skills is key for this role, as well as having the ability to communicate professionally with clients, build rapport and engage with them.
