This continued growth has created an opportunity in the firm’s busy Non-Motor Claims Department for an experienced Claims Handler.
You’ll be handling an allocated portfolio of Commercial Liability and Property claims, and will process both new and existing claims both over the phone and in writing. All the time, you’ll be acting as the conduit between insurers and your client bank, maintaining an efficient diary system and ensuring that your clients’ claims are progressed to a satisfactory conclusion as efficiently as possible.
With regular interdepartmental, insurer and adjuster liaison, it is essential that you can demonstrate first-class communication skills over the telephone, in person and in writing.
Additionally, another interesting part of your role will be the production and analysis of claims experiences, identifying any trends and risk management areas of concern, and bringing them to the attention of your Claims Manager and/ or the controlling Account Executive. Strong IT and spreadsheet skills would obviously be an advantage in this regard.
