Our client, a well-respected and highly regarded independently owned advisory firm is looking to recruit an experienced and qualified Paraplanner to join its expanding team based in Hereford.

It offers advice across all areas of financial planning, for example pension and retirement planning, tax planning and savings.
The main purpose of the role is to provide report writing, research and technical support to the Independent Financial Advisers, particularly the MD. More specifically, you will be responsible for preparing analysis of existing policies, products and recommendations for client presentation, as well as preparing suitability letters and complex reports in accordance with the agreed client recommendations. Other day to day duties will include dealing with client and provider queries, as well as maintaining relevant databases and ensuring records are accurate and up to date with client and portfolio details.
You will have previous experience of working as a Paraplanner within the IFA space, and ideally you will be Diploma qualified, or be very close to completing this. It would be beneficial if you have good working knowledge of the wider financial services market, to include more complex cases such as drawdown and IHT. You must competent in the field and have the ability to work on your own initiative.
